Each box includes your choice from three of our carefully selected romance novels and a collection of premium wellness items that complement the story’s tone and energy. Think of it as a multisensory escape, where passion meets prose!

No two boxes are the same. Every quarter introduces fresh themes and new products chosen to enhance the emotional and sensual journey of that box's story. Toys are carefully selected based on quality and availability, with your pleasure in mind.

What is cliterature?

Cliterature - or smut - is the lifeblood of Novel Pleasures!

Dive into a steamy romance that perfectly fits the box’s theme. Choose a romance novel that aligns with your favorite tropes and desired spice level, from slow-burn to downright scorching, carefully selected to complement the theme and set the mood just right.

How does this work?

1. Choose Your Box
Choose between one of our available themes and select cliterature to pair with your box.

2. Pre-Order
Boxes are available for pre-order year-round, but we only ship 4 times a year.
Orders typically close the last day of the month prior to shipping.

3. Shipping
We ship in seasonal batches to ensure every box is curated to perfection. Your order will ship during the next upcoming "Shipping Month":

  • Winter Batch: Ships early February
  • Spring Batch: Ships early May
  • Summer Batch: Ships early August
  • Fall Batch: Ships early November

4. Arrival
Boxes arrive within 1 business week of shipment. You’ll receive a tracking email so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.

We're just getting started! At this time, we're not setting up active subscriptions or automatically charging you. You'll only be charged during check-out.

We're an aspiring subscription box! When a recurring subscription option becomes available, we'll let you know!

How does the preorder system work?

We take pre-orders year-round! Every quarter, we release a brand-new theme. To keep things exclusive, we ship all orders in four seasonal windows: February, May, August, and November.

Quarters

  • Quarter 1: January - March
  • Quarter 2: April - June
  • Quarter 3: July - September
  • Quarter 4: October - December

Orders typically close the last day of the month prior to shipping.
Orders placed after a shipment has gone out will automatically be queued for the next seasonal release.

Can I buy past boxes?

Yes and no! We keep our popular themes available, but items in each box are subject to change based on availability. That being said, you can still explore your favorite tropes even after their original release.

New themes are introduced each quarter, adding fresh tales and sensations to discover alongside our existing collections.

No Returns, Just Happy Endings

Can I return or exchange a product?

For health and safety reasons, all sales are final. Once a box leaves our facility, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

What's your Return/Refund Policy?

At Novel Pleasures, your privacy, safety, and satisfaction are our top priorities. Each box is curated with care and sealed with discretion. 

Due to the nature of the intimate wellness products we sell, all sales are final. Once an order has shipped, products are considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged. All shipped products are unable to be restocked or re-sold. We maintain a strict no-returns or exchanges policy to ensure the health and safety of every customer. This policy ensures the health, safety, and peace of mind of every member of our community.

Is shipping free?

Yes! Standard shipping within the continental United States is free.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Once a package is in transit, it’s under the care of the carrier. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen shipments, but if your box arrives damaged, please reach out, we’ll do our best to make it right with our shipping partner.

Will my box be shipped discreetly?

Absolutely. Every Novel Pleasures box is shipped in plain, unmarked packaging, ensuring your privacy from checkout to delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet! At this time, we ship only within the continental U.S., but international shipping is something we’re exploring for the future.
